   We are a VIETNAM VETERANS organization dedicated to helping our Veterans and supporting our community, (youth activities, food pantries, Oxford Veterans home just to name a few.) We are located at  VFW POST 1371, 207 Main Street, Owego, NY 13827. We meet on the first Wednesday of each month in the ladies auxiliaries front room at 7:00 pm

   To become a voting member of the VVA you must be a veteran who served during the Vietnam War from (February 28, 1961 to May 7, 1975) or all other duty stations from August 5, 1964 to May 7, 1975.

   Not eligible for regular membership? How about becoming an associate member.  Membership in AVVA is open to everyone. Our members include spouses, parents, children, neighbors, and friends of Vietnam Veterans. 

    Anyone is welcome to join AVVA. AVVA members are affiliates of one of the more than 600 chapters of Vietnam Veterans of America or may join at-large.   Contact your local VVA Chapter to find out more information or go to to download an application.
